    Yeah the 6z euro getting the 2” to my yard is an accomplishment for sure. My hopes were solely resting on the high resolution (and also low performing at times) models.

    Do like that this actually has some local mesoscale features and banding that looks well depicted (somewhere - tbd) and dynamics from fronto and the jet. So, MAYBE they're seeing something.

    Don't be disappointed when this thing fizzles to just about a nothing burger in some spots to a 2" max in the places that get it "good".

    The good news is... the rgem has honestly been crap for the last few years. It had a small heyday where it got a few right several years ago, but it has some NOTABLE big misses... like that 40" Baltimore was going to get 2.5 days out a few years ago. We don't remember how that went because it "didn't went anywhere."

    We probably have 1-2 hours of official advisories before landfall. This is likely going to take the throne as #1 on record in pressure and perhaps wind speed for our basin.

    I’m thinking 915mb and 170mph, question is where it’ll fall since 170 is not an advisory strength, so 165/175.
