  1. KY/IN storms clearly battling CIN at the moment. Not a very robust look outside of the long tracker that just entered the state
  2. Not the most impressive reflectivity considering the CC drop
  3. Some CIN ahead in Kentucky could be the dagger
  4. That thing is incredibly violent at the moment. And the environment is just perfect. SPC has a discussion about it
  5. And it’s in a little bit of a radar hole as well. That structure looks as good as ever
  6. Just wow at the scope of this outbreak currently. Talk about a big dog cell north of Memphis
  7. And to think this is the slow one. I wouldn’t be shocked tonight to see storm motions at 60+
  8. Nail on the head, dews are approaching 70° in Memphis & Jackson already. Once that cap breaks tonight, holy smokes. So many ingredients in place for long track twisters tonight
  9. Seems like more of a linear event but we’ll see. That jet is going to absolutely be hauling the mail tomorrow night though
  10. Definitely some severe chances on the horizon
  11. Damn, I didn't know my chances could get any lower to be honest here...
  12. Man a week straight of 70°/50° incoming? Sweet Jesus that's perfection
  13. Definitely looks like a legit slug of cold across the Eastern US next week. 540 line dropping all the way to the TN/NC southern borders, and definite chances for lows in the teens west of Lake Michigan next week. Winter is definitely coming
  14. Have a week of meetings next Monday across our Michigan operations. It literally always snows when I visit during the cold season so I expect to some flurries, especially when I’m in Muskegon for a couple of days
  15. There's always that one maple that hangs on later than the others
  16. I'm not sure what you do for work but remote work is growing in acceptance with time. Still though, my company is pretty sold on the hybrid model so I doubt I get that chance.
  17. Would be worse if I didn't have a pool or ocean close by. I'm outside year round now and it's noticeable how much healthier my lifestyle is regularly going outside for walks and runs, kayaking around the marshes, walking while golfing, and going to ocean/pool from mid April through mid October. Harder to live an active lifestyle with the harsher weather of the Midwest in my opinion unless it's a place that has a hard winter so I can ski and play pond hockey. With that being said, I was moved to a promotion down here so I do not have the same disdain for Northern climates as my other fellow transplants. In fact if I had a choice and was allowed to go fully remote, I'd move to Traverse City.
  18. Haha I like peeking in to see your storms and massive seasonal swings as I only have the occasional severe storm or hurricane to watch around here. I do have a crazy statistic for you guys here, today is on track to be the first time my town fails to hit 70° in 195 days. I will say that's the thing I absolutely love about this climate, Mothers Day thru mid September is pretty rough but everything else is incredibly nice and mild. Problem is while it's nice to live in, from a weather forecasting perspective it's very boring
  19. How about this for a stat. Today is on track to be the first time my town fails to hit 70 in 195 days
  20. Wow. I have to admit, the cold surge is impressive. I'm not sure if Charlotte even breaks 50 tomorrow down here
  21. Damn, currently basically on radar. Tough to see anything
  22. Some chances upcoming this week. Instability is pretty measly though
  23. I’m shocked there isn’t more discussion on here. Some big dog twisters tonight south of St Louis
