  1. @Terpeast Wouldn't this sounding suggest +SN at DCA still at 18z? 700mb to 800mb is nearly isothermal, but just below zero. If rates were to be heavy enough, I guess rimed snow?
  2. Its over for us around 252... but since its 30 hours I cant do a PW 24 hr snapshot... but sounds right
  3. Still snow with ridiculous omega DC metro at 12z
  4. https://www.weather.gov/ilm/criteria Thats what ILM states for ISW: "Freezing rain is the only or predominate type of wintry precipitation and is expected to accumulate to ¼ inch or greater during a period of 24 hours or less."
  5. I believe for ISW it has to be mainly ice and no snow
  6. Good luck all. Hope you all see some good snows before any ice down there
  7. I'm going to get 0.01" more snow than you. But @mappy will get more than both of us
  8. I think most of us are pretty set on getting at least 6" of snow. What happens after is up to banding location and other intricacies. As others have mentioned, if we want to get closer to double digit snow amounts in the metros... we want that mix to come closer to 18z
  9. Just taking verbatim... DCA has 2" of snow at 1am and ripping
  10. Zones have a lot of "lows near 0" Tuesday morning
  11. The Winter Storm Warnings in KY are pretty high in their snow amounts FWIW
