  1. Obviously, Alex needs to get you a company 4x4!
  2. I figured I must just about be the western extent of the snow, at least this far north. We have maybe an inch, probably just under. I just went down to Montpelier to walk on the bike path and I didn’t have to go far to hit zero snow. Still snowing some here and the roads are starting to get covered.
  3. Ground whitening up here Maybe we’ll get lucky and score a couple of inches.
  4. Finally snow here. Not expecting much but it will brighten things up a bit.
  5. It’s funny, I rarely get anxious about any single event, I get anxious about entire seasons. Will it stay cold enough, can we avoid big meltdowns and cutters, will the snowpack actually be a usable depth etc. when the activities you enjoy have no access to snowmaking, the tenor of a season can be the bigger worry.
  6. That is exactly what I was thinking. Still pre-seasoning my sleds right now anyway
  7. Millinocket might be a good compromise between Jackman and St. Agatha. Easy access of 95, decent hotel options.
  8. Lol. Pittsburg, NH. That is a tough drive. At least Chateaugay is interstate most of the way.
  9. Where were you for VDay 2007? I had close to 3' here in Barre
  10. The yard is actually coated. Somewhere between a trace and tenth?
  11. Only 1.98" here. Looks like Stein is still beating you down.
  12. Moving from BGM just in time for something like this would be a stab in the back for him.
  13. that culligan guy who moved to Jackson, NH just threw his laptop into the mud in disgust
  14. That myth surrounds a lot of recreational activities. You can make them as expensive as you want. I golf using irons I've had for nearly 15 years. I snowmobile with sleds that are 8-12 years old and I volunteer and get free trail passes. I know a lot of otherwise retired guys who get jobs at Sugarbush in the winter for the skiing. All of these things can be expensive if you have the latest and greatest technology or have to travel long ways to partake in things. Like you said, there are ways to make things affordable
  15. I'm just kidding. Hart's Location is a tiny town (settlement?) with something like 50 people in Crawford notch. The picture does show how bright it was outside.
  16. Pretty sure those are just the lights from Hart’s Location.
  17. Temp dropped quicker than I was expecting. Went to the grocery store and the car was frozen up pretty good. Temp is 30°
  18. Like I said yesterday, it’s easy to quarantine at home in this stuff.
  19. I actually thought I saw a few gloppy rain drops on my windshield at 1250’. It was 38° at the time.
  20. Pretty easy day to stay quarantined.
