    I keep thinking about they saying you've shared in the past about winter not starting until the swamps are filled. If that's the case, winter is a looong way off up here.

    Can't spot the reindeer sweater in a crowd? All joking aside, I noticed the same thing this past weekend. I think its been drier south and the trees were more stressed.

    Couple of wildlife pictures. The first one was from a friend’s trail camera a few miles away from where we live and the second one was at the golf course today.

    Went over to the Fryeburg Fair today. Went over through the Kanc and then went home up 113 through Evans Notch to Rt. 2. The best color was through Groton, VT and then on the western slopes of the Whites to Twin Mountain. I was surprised how little change there was in Evans Notch.
