I know 2 couples who have just bought places in The Villages. I can’t think of a worse spot in FL, well maybe in the deep interior panhandle.

Yikes. We drove from BGR TO PQI and didn’t see anything other than sprinkles. I don’t think it rained here at all after we arrived around 12:30.

This is what we saw.

We ended up taking a different route simply because I decided to follow whatever the gps told me to do. Went all interstate through NH to 95 and the Maine Turnpike. Probably not the best route but traffic wasn’t as bad as I feared. Ran into some hellacious storms in NH. Rain hard enough to almost bring traffic to a halt. Impressive lightning around exit 13 on 89 in NH. We got a room in Bangor for the night and drive the rest of the way to PQI tomorrow. The last 2 times I’ve gone up there the clouds have obscured Katahdin from the lookout. Probably strike 3 tomorrow.

I'll be driving through your neighborhood later today on our way to Presque Isle for a couple of days and then P.E.I. for a week.

Yeah and I'm driving to northern Maine and then through to P.E.I. Sounds like it could be some crappy driving in spots.

Every time it’s halfway decent out, our course seems packed. You can never make up full for bad days but it’s been good to be busy when you can.

I leav for a week in PEI next Friday. Probably not going to get to install until I get back.
