    A guy I know was riding the north shore of the St. Lawerence, northeast of Quebec City in this last storm. It got so bad they couldn’t ride in the trail and since the road was closed to non-emergency auto traffic, the police let them ride the road. They did 120 miles of road riding in one day. He posted in the New England Sled Talk FB group as the Winter Traveller. Was quite an adventure.

    Pretty sure I could walk 18 holes in that condition. Would have to take a cart if I wanted to do 36. Today's generation just has no heart!

    Yikes. Glad you're ok. I know some guys who are riding in Quebec on the North Shore of the St. Lawrence and got caught in this storm. Too much snow on the trails so the SÛRETÉ DU QUÉBEC let them ride the road since it was closed to non-emergencytraffic. They did 110 miles on the road yesterday.

    I stole this one from a Facebook post. It was taken up in the Wheelock/Sheffield area. I’ve seen some big drifts on this trail but nothing like this.

    If you could, you should drive up tomorrow to catch some really nice drifts. 53 mph reported at KMPV.

    A guy I work with is in Tahoe for vacation this week. Multiple flight delays Saturday meant it took him 23 hours to get there and they lost all his luggage so no snowboarding gear as of this afternoon.

    Haha was just coming here to report the same. Flow must have jut become unblocked. I didn’t think we were expecting any snow tonight.

    I think that those of us who snowmobile like some of the mix thrown in. It makes a really beefy harder to melt base and lacks nicely when groomed.

    Just an inch or so of dense stuff over a coating of ice. PF hit the nail on the head last night when he mentioned how the best stuff might be in the NEK. I saw reports from snowmobile trail groomers of near 6" in the higher elevations.
