    Played in the desert heat of Las Vegas because they are isolating all the teams in one city with enough hotel rooms and facilities to house the entire tournament

    We were talking about it playing golf tonight. 2 weeks ago I took the new pro on his first walk around of the course. He’s from Florida and was a bit appalled at the snow and frigid temps. I think it was 37 with brutal winds. And today we were close to 90. Quick change.

    Those are so loud though. I’ve thought about them because I don’t have good ac windows in my living room. The noise is just too much though.

    I installed this morning. I figured with all three of us working/schooling at home we should have some daytime comfort. Turned off and windows open now.

    89 for me this morning. Made $7 or $8 so it was a good day. The guys I play with are slow though. Luckily it wasn’t busy so we only had to let a twosome play through but it drives me nuts. I like these guys and have fun with them but they are slow. At least when the course is busy the pick up the pace some but 5 hour rounds drive me nuts.

    This time of year is almost as amazing as fall for foliage. There always comes a point where I think that I never realized there were so many shades green.

    One thing I’ve come to appreciate about working at home the last couple of days is having the windows open. My office is typical, sealed windows, HVAC system. It’s nice working with the windows open and smell of fresh cut grass wafting through. Will probably suck with no central AC when the HHH arrives.

    I liked seeing them carry too. I have a push cart but prefer to carry. Played 9 tonight. Beautiful night to be out. Didn’t play well.

    I remember ash falling even here. It was surreal. Volcanos didn’t blow in America, those happen on tropic islands.

    Me too. I've always felt the best golf weather is overcast and 70. Just more comfortable that way

    There has got to be someplace that gets shadowed by the Whites that sucks, relatively. We know places like Whitefield and Lancaster are relative snowholes but that is in town. The higher elevations are decent I believe.

    Now that's a standard first round. I was thinning shots, not to point of topping them but I'm sure that's soon to come. Did anyone catch the Titleist Skins game from Seminole yesterday? It was ok. That Matt Wolff guy seemed pretty nervous playing with Fowler, McIlroy and D.J. on national TV. He has quite the swing. Seminole looked nice but it must be better in person to receive all the accolades it does.
