  1. Was just coming in to post that SLK was over to snow and temps and dews have fallen into the 30's. Our nightmare is coming to an end!
  2. Front coming through VT? Burlington, VT RAIN 39 38 96 NW10 29.41S VSB 1/4 Montpelier, VT LGT RAIN 44 44 100 S9 29.43F
  3. Same here but we've popped up to 42° or so. The sidewalks were absolutely treacherous when I got to work this morning. Had to walk in the street to my office.
  4. Water flows downhill, he'll be fine. Getting anywhere else might be a problem though.
  5. Lol, rapidly is not how I would describe it. I’m president of my course. I can guarantee we won’t open before the last week of April at the earliest.
  6. Bring the family up here. I’ll take you out to dinner and give you rides around the yard on the snowmobile to cheer you up.
  7. I don't think that's true at all. We all are pretty well versed in the damage that cutters and warm ups can cause, just look at the last two Februarys. We were shut down snowmobile trailwise pretty much statewide. I just don't think this particular storm will cause as much damage as you think. It's a quick hitter. We won't be in the 50's and there will be some frozen precip at the start to help cap the powder on the ground now. It is completely possible that I am wrong because, let's face it, I'm not the sharpest meteorological knife in the drawer but PF is very well versed in all things snow and he doesn't appear overly concerned so I am going to hod off on the doom and gloom for now.
  8. Dude, Mansfield has 80” and then there is all the man made on the trails. My forecast high is like 37, I’m pretty sure we can survive this mild up. As for the sled trails, they will survive as well. There was a rock solid base and there needs to be some settling of this powder.
  9. Boy that’s quite a gradient just to my east. I’m frolicking in powder while klw and Allenson(assuming he’s still around these parts) are raging at the light coating and slush. That would be a rare feat.
  10. The area? Aren’t you NJ? That’s not this area.
  11. -6/-10. Cheap midnight high of -5 ruining what could be a really cold day.
  12. I’ve got to go out and finish digging out. Been putting it off since 8:00 this morning.
  13. Brutal outside. -10/-16 with a wc if -34. Wintry
  14. I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought this. -6/-10 here.
  15. Stunning night out. No clouds and the extra bright full moon reflecting off the fresh snow is beautiful. Moonlight in Vermont indeed.
  16. They know quality when they see it
  17. It sure felt like a lot more when I was shoveling. Got very lucky when a neighbor passing by on his tractor cleaned out the end of my driveway and pushed the sides back.

  20. Well, he is a notorious slant sticker.
  21. Talk about over-treating! That spot will be ice and snow for the 5 years lol.
  22. I’m not in a great wind spot to begin with but I haven’t noticed any wind to speak of.
  23. Are you at home or still in Rangeley?
