  1. Looked like another 2”-3” in the driveway when I got home. The boy had most of it cleared so I couldn’t get a real measurement. Nice event.

  3. Snow hills, light rain in the valleys. BTV has bumped down the high temp for Friday though. It was 41° yesterday and now 34°
  4. Our club has our annual poker run this Saturday and the trails here were just a complete skating rink. This 7"-8" will groom out nicely and I want them to stay that way.
  5. I'm still holding my breath on the Friday warmth/rain. It looks like we avoid anything really bad but I still worry.
  6. A little over 7" this morning. I thought we were pretty much done but it started up again. We may be able to hit 8". Like JSpin said, I didn't see any evidence that the sleet line reached us but it is a dense snow.
  7. I just measured 5.5” here in Barre Town. Should get over 6” easily. I’m glad the State delayed opening until 9:45 tomorrow. I don’t have to get up too early to clear the driveway.

  9. That would be something, Ginx stays snow while the rev gets scalped. I know it won't happen but it would be funny.
  10. Do it just for fun and to make sure you remember where it is.
  11. In 2003, the summer before my son was born, I cut 5 strokes of my handicap, went from a 20 to a 15. I practiced and played regularly and worked on stuff. During the summer of 2004, it went back up to an 18. In the ensuing 15 years I have managed to whittle of a stroke here and there and got myself down to a 13. Of course this is almost completely based on playing at my home course. I seem to collapse completely when I play away from home
  12. Depends on where you live. I hear Ottawa is crushing it.
  13. Same for snowmobiling. I wouldn't even mind a little sleet to really beef it up. Most importantly though is the changing nature for whatever happens Friday/Saturday. I'm hard pressed to remember this much ice. I'm 215 lbs and can stand on the pack without really putting much of a dent in it.

  15. Yes, we are open for public play. We are located just south of Norwich University and just over the mountain from Sugarbush http://www.northfieldcountryclub.com/
  16. Just tuned in to watch Pebble Beach. Graupel storms moved through earlier. Greens covered and the sunny 15 minutes later. They just called them off the course again.
