  1. When you choose the image from your phone, choose it's size. I use medium most of the time but large can work as well.
  2. 49°/49° at the nearest PWS 0.29. They are on the other side if the hill from me but that seems about right.
  3. Oh how we (me) pray this is a sign of winter precip patterns.
  4. I just turned the heat on. Currently rainy and 47°/46° here
  5. Now you know why it’s called stick season.
  6. Happened to my cat last week. Hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and Dawn dish detergent.
  7. Yep, rapidly heading towards stick season.
  8. MPV reported 3.40" in the last 24 hours. I didn't realize it had rained that much through the night so I went and checked the CoCoRaHS site for my county. Knowing Stein had been slayed must have allowed me to sleep well.
  9. Couple of more from today's drive. This was driving down Rt. 110 in VT from Barre Town to Royalton
  10. I don't need or want a cold snowy October anyway.
  11. From today. I think peak was yesterday in my area
  12. Probably a better shot at that than having any leaves left by that time. I haven’t been to the CPV this week so you may have better luck in BTV.
  13. Decided to take tomorrow off to do a foliage tour since it seems to be progressing so rapidly. This was today.
  14. I keep thinking of the old farmer’s saying that winter won’t start until the streams and ponds are full. If that’s the case it may not happen until 2021.
  15. Had .03" of rain last night but it was enough to make it pretty foggy. MPV visibility at < .25 of a mile
  16. Some sort of shower passed through here while I was golfing. Nothing in Northfield but wet roads and puddles by the time I got back to Barre Town around 7:00. Foliage progressing nicely over there at about 750’.
  17. Thank you and to you too. We were 2001 as well. It was quite a time 3 weeks after 9/11 and worrying about all the travel some of our relatives were doing and the fact that we had plane tickets to England for our honeymoon.
  18. I know that many think of Columbus Day as usually the peak but I don't think that's always been true. We picked our wedding date 20 years ago, September 29th, because that always seemed closer to the regular peak, if there is such a thing. I'm not sure if there is any data that could really back this up, just my memories through the years.
