  1. I have the 18v system and like all of the tools. I think the trimmer lasts about an hour on a charge. I don't have a ton of trimmimg to do so it works for me.
  2. My little course in Northfield, VT came through winter great and is pretty much in mid-season form.
  3. As I suspected, the heaviest stuff stayed north of me. It rained but didn't seem overly hard overnight. When I came in to work I was pretty surprised at ho high the river was running.
  4. I’ve always liked Koepka. I liked the fact that he and Peter Uhlein decided to go the European route instead of the standard Q-school route. I remember watching him win over there and thinking he could be great. Got a little ticklish towards the end today though.
  5. 1"-1.5" at my house, which sets at 1250'. Looks like a little less over at the golf course which is at 810'
  6. Only .38 at MPV. But as your radar loop shows, the heaviest stuff has stayed north of us.
  7. I played 9 Saturday, 3 or 4 holes Sunday and 9 Monday after work.
  8. This is where our course shines. We drain so well over 90% of the course that we very few water issues and never close the course to carts. Now, if the temp would get over 45° and the wind would die down, I would get out and play!
  9. We are finally starting to melt out. Our tentative target date to open is the 28th. The first picture is of our first fairway. The second is the par 3 4th hole. I haven't seen our upper fairways but the superintendent reports over a foot in places still.
  10. I’ve never been a Tiger fanboy but I’ve always felt golf is more interesting when he’s in the mix. What a win. There are tons of people who don’t like him and he has given them reason to but this was really satisfying to see. I remember watching Nicklaus win in 86 but this was bigger.
  11. With all the talk of Molinari, it still surprises me how little attention Koepka gets. Of course Tiger is the big story but a lot of the talk was of Molinari while Koepka has been just playing along climbing up the leader board.
  12. Cannot believe this thread has languished with the Masters going on. Of course, it was so nice here today that I didn’t spend enough time indoors watching it. What a packed leaderboard. Tomorrow should be a blast to watch.
  13. Cart fees are sometimes Calle trap fees but usually for member owned carts. The fine print says based on two year membership. I wonder if they require you to buy a membership next year.
  14. I posted this in the banter thread but it's appropriate here too. This is a picture of the clubhouse at my course. I took it Saturday. We usually open around the end of April
  15. Holy crap! Hmmmmm, can I make the commute?
  16. I don’t look at Fleetwood as choking as much is not executing the shot on 17. He knew what he had to do and took aim at the flag. If he hit it one yard more, he has a much better chance at winning. Sometimes it just doesn’t work out. The new schedule is great, a big tournament every month through August. I think the PGA in May is going to click and develop a character of its own and I like the Ooen Championship being the final major of the year. No competing with college football or the NFL either.
  17. What about Furyk’s shotbon 18 at the Player’s? Clutch. I’m sort of rooting for Rory though Furyk would be a great story.
  18. Pffffffffft! 4-7 with lollies to 10” he’s never that reasonable, unless consensus is a rainer.
  19. Let me guess, next up is a 163” with 3” paddles.
  20. Yikes. Glad you're ok. I know some guys who are riding in Quebec on the North Shore of the St. Lawrence and got caught in this storm. Too much snow on the trails so the SÛRETÉ DU QUÉBEC let them ride the road since it was closed to non-emergencytraffic. They did 110 miles on the road yesterday.
  21. I’ve always been more of a Tiger guy than a Phil guy and think things are much more interesting when he’s in the mix. Ernie was really my guy in his prime though. Love watching his swing still. As far as the young guys, I’m with you on Finau. He’s just got to figure out how to close the deal. I’ve liked Koepka too, ever since he decided to start out on the European Tour.
  22. In 2003, the summer before my son was born, I cut 5 strokes of my handicap, went from a 20 to a 15. I practiced and played regularly and worked on stuff. During the summer of 2004, it went back up to an 18. In the ensuing 15 years I have managed to whittle of a stroke here and there and got myself down to a 13. Of course this is almost completely based on playing at my home course. I seem to collapse completely when I play away from home
