Planning to drive down to Carolina Beach south of Wilmington tomorrow. I figure it will be better to drive through the storms in NC than have to load up the car here in the rain Friday morning.
Only managed .67" this week. Did okay on Monday, but had storms fall apart on our doorstep or split us on Tuesday and Wednesday. It's okay. I don't really like grass, anyways...
They were faintly visible here in N. Bethesda around 5 AM. Just a slight glow to the naked eye, but the cell camera captured a faint red glow and some faint pilars. By the time I ran inside to get the SLR, they were no longer visible.
We acheived snow globe status here for a while, but no accumulation. Temps dropped 10 degrees with the passage of the front down to 34. Let's hope this is the start of a nice wintry period!
