    Mike has been very good with this storm from the get go. He was preaching caution when we saw the big runs, and focusing on the strength of the upper low.

    I was perplexed they hadn't dialed back the temp forecast. For the last 24 hours, none of the meso models I saw had us getting past the low 50s (if that).

    Ended up with .78" of rain yesterday. That finally did in the last of the snow on the deck after 25 days of snow cover.

    5.25" here in North Bethesda. The band about an hour ago had some of the biggest snowflakes I've ever seen; the biggest were 2-3 inches across.
