SWPC has G3 now as the latest obs. Do we need it to be higher to see stuff or is there some sort of lag? Should I be expecting a fade in and out situation?
My numbers this year are randomly generated, with 98 being the basepoint, and the highest observed at each location as the maximum.

Apparently they have a range that they prefer to live in and some are really stubborn and will try to find where they live again. Short distances are probably best.
Yeah, every storm I remember has typically been small in terms of area. I guess it’s just early for us still, which checks out looking at the various NWS Past Events pages, lots of June stuff.
I’ve almost forgotten spring is a severe season around here. Most of the impressive stuff I’ve seen in recent years has been during the summer. I’m excited to go west and see some real storms like I’ve never seen before.
I don’t pay for pivotal and the ads are annoying but liveable. The annoying part is when the page refreshes and I have to move my cursor from a location I’m analyzing to click the scroll bar so i can arrow key over again.
Any observations about warm fronts in combination with a wedge, and how they can play into severe? I vaguely recall something of the sorts, but I’d have to research again. Perhaps it’s a more early season issue.
I’m not in Richmond, but did anyone happen to hear or feel something shake around 10:45 - 10:47? Apparently it showed up on seismograms in fredericksburg…
I only got like 0.4” of rain here, but it’s snowing now so… okay.
10:30am edit: Had a massive graupel/sleet/snow burst that topped the cars and got some grass accumulation.
