  1. No reasonable person in this subforum would balk at at the 12z EPS mean. Everyone wins. We all know the northern crew would somehow find a way to push 15" too.
  2. 12z EPS at HR 144. I'd like to see that closed 500 low a bit further SW into Kentucky. That's about as far north as I like to see.
  3. During big captures or transfers the coastal low linger for a bit.
  4. I would trade the rest of the winter for the 12z OP Euro from today verify. Give me like 3 days of decent cold behind this to maintain the snow for a bit then we can flip to whatever.
  5. Doesn't look like a lot of wind. Not complaining. Man that's a sick run of the Euro.
  6. 12z Euro...damn that's nice. Primary low died off in Kentucky, quick handoff to the coastal low, good surface temps, good look at 500. Even @usedtobe gets warning level snow. EDIT: I'll be happy if this happens and then winter end after a few days of snow cover. This would be the biggest event for just about everyone since 2016.
  7. The 500 mb pass on the 12z OP Euro is textbook. Beautiful.
  8. 06z EPS is a pretty classic Miller B. Obvious caveats apply, but that would at least get everyone some snow.
  9. 29 degrees with freezing drizzle. Everything except the roads has a thick glaze of ice.
  10. SN- 31/23 in Reisterstown. Accumulating on everything.
  11. Based of the 0.5 degree CC scan on LWX radar, it appears the melting layer is working closer to the surface. Even a few snow mPING reports in the pan handle of WV now.
  12. In Garrett County K2G4 (Oakland) now has 1SM visibility so it appears that snow has started there. It didn't take long after the echoes started moving overhead for precip to begin which isn't a bad sign. Granted they're in the mountains, but if we had a real dry air issue then it would take forever to precipitate even out there.
  13. SPC mesoanalysis has the 32° wet bulb line running from I-66 to Rt. 50 to the PA/DE border in Delmarva.
  14. Still a decent dewpoint depression north of I-66 and the radar to our west looks pretty decent. If we can manage a thump, thing might get snowy fast for some people.
  15. Radar does look a little better than what Euro/GFS would show. Maybe the mesos are on to something?
  16. Southern Maryland, a good chunk of Delmarva.
