  1. Past hour
  2. I feel your frustrations. Being a BAMA fan, the first qtr against OK I was livid. All I hear is Indiana will kill us. I was hoping UT would beat IL. My gosh the banter of people saying the SEC is overrated just got louder. Sadly college football is imploding. I feel for schools like Iowa State & OK state. They literally have 16/17 players left on their teams. The portal & $$$ are killing it quickly. Who would really want to coach college these days. It’s a 365 days job. Pros is much more easier.
  3. that gets much of eastern SNE involved with 2-4". The NAMs snowfall algorithms are like 1-2" max.
  4. Just watched BAM Weather video for today the 30th…guy is good. Gives some very good insight on the upcoming set up…and actually uses some real Meteorology to interpret the modeling…instead of just Modelology. Certainly one of the Better and more professional YouTube weather videos to watch. No hype.
  5. I think my area already has 1/2" of snow tonight since 6:00 or 7:00 eastern.
  6. Maine has some upside with this..CCB development in GOM is getting more established with each cycle
  7. Sure am Kevvie. had you said 1-2 I think we all would have agreed. Oh there it is!
  8. 48 out to Davis will be passable. You won't hit any snow at all until you make the final climb up the plateau around Bismark. You'll only be driving through maybe 15 - 20 miles of snow to Blackwater. The trucks do an OK job plowing. The worst part will be the roads inside the park.
  9. That’s a pretty big hit for midcoast and downeast. Let’s grab 1-2” down here. Want to keep seeing that vort come in really strong. That always helps to compensate a little bit for a dry system coming in from a downslope direction. It increases the lift and tries to tug some moisture from the Atlantic.
  10. Duration will be limiting factor, due to cyclogenesis happening a bit too late. 3k would be like 2-3 hrs of snow, but still could be like 3"+ here
  11. On this Day in 2013, models started honing in on a winter storm across Midwest that would make Its way to northeast and amplify off the coast. New Year’s Day NHL classic was in Michigan and it was snowing heavily. I remember thinking wow that’s coming to us. By January 2nd we were under winter storm warning for 6-10+” of snow, near blizzard conditions. All out blizzard for eastern New England and Long Island though. Was great tracking that one. A kickstart to an amazing winter in 2014, the best I’ve ever seen second to 2011 (which I wasn’t into weather back then but it was still cool to see all that snow too).
  12. We know how this ends. It will inch north and then one run will take it 100 miles south again
  13. Tomorrow night does look interesting imo with the potential of some pretty robust squalls
  14. That piece of energy has been there across the modeling...but it's always just passed by to the south so I barely noticed it. That there was the first time any model brought it further north.
