  1. Past hour
  2. I know that it was forecasted. And I'm not saying he was necessarily "wrong" in terms of following that forecast. But I don't know what he was predicting beforehand, that's why I said I couldn't remember.
  3. This isnt far from a few inches here in Brooklyn. Hopefully we see more ticks by tonight.
  4. It's disgusting. I haven't gone down to that part of the Potomac, but I imagine those Potomac and Harper's Ferry tubing and rafting, etc. companies are gonna feel the pinch this summer.
  5. GEFS verified better than EPS for Dec. I prefer to describe it as less wrong than far more accurate but that’s just me: This is what actually verified: Dec ‘25 is in blue
  6. According to the cameras it’s snowing up at snowshoe! Glad to get some verification of this thread
  7. This seems to be setting up a frigid march Sent from my SM-S731U using Tapatalk
  8. That sounds more like a cold. I had a pretty decent one for a few days during the snowcrete storm. Wasn't debilitating, but wasn't fun either.
  9. Next chance and maybe the final chance will be around the 23rd.
  10. Not bad out. Snow is taking a beating even with modest temps. Probably lost 6+ inches last 3-4 days
  11. It's definitely milder today than I expected. Weather stations are showing mid-40s across the region lol.
  12. Low vis mod rain all morning. Just a wonderful cold rain piling up in ditches, potholes, and mud depressions. Y'all jelly don't lie now. Planning doing a jebdrive to knock off a few layers of dirt salt here shortly. I'll take pics
  13. Just more high and mighty arrogant garbage from you. Once again you are no better than me. Half you posts are literally repeat basic facts.
  14. The AI guidance has seemed to like the Monday threat more than the others. Though I thought the 06z OP Euro looked pretty threatening at 144h.
  15. Mr. J and I are not natives to MD. But our daughters are. Through them in school we learned the importance of the watershed. I grew up around the Maumee River which empties into Lake Erie and grew up understanding the importance of keeping waterways clean. I have found that those who do not live near their water source seem to think it just exists. Ignoring the surrounding environment. As for making jokes well some people just never grow up and it shows.
  16. This is the most important thread of the season, but first I'm going to enjoy the incoming thaw.
  17. The biggest issue with this storm is that it's not cold. I'm just messing with you...I don't actually mind a storm thread (rain or snow) and, quite frankly, I don't even want it to snow. I want to get these snowcrete mounds down and maybe we can get a normal, freshly packed snowstorm before the season is out.
  18. GGEM is focusing most of the stuff on the Saturday/Sunday shortwave…decent little event but again, those prob have limited upside potential of high end advisory or maybe low end warning.
  19. There is a category in the New England Forum called SnowStorm memories. In it, "the Four Seasons", red-tag, has extensive maps, etc on all New England Storms going back to the mid-90s. What is interesting is that he says: PD II updated maps coming next. Oddly, i just check the list of all historic storms i have on the website right now and theres almost nothing from Feb 15th to the end of Feb other than PD2 and 1999/2010 for big ones. Tons in March though.
