  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah sorry, no scale for reference. Peak of the roof ridge is 6', and the metal panels are about 7" wide. The ground would've been wet enough last night, and there's a variety of dirt all over here - so not wet enough to make a print, but enough to get its feet dirty. There are raccoons around, and I have heard fisher here, but not in the last 2 warm seasons. Hens are safe inside the coop. I do wonder if it hung out and tried to get in, or of they stayed silent and the critter moved along. The only part that's not secure is their window. Hardware cloth under, but it's a small piece, and if nothing else they'd be freaking out and injure one another.
  3. Yeah you can just feel it want to decouple and plummet as the sun goes down
  4. only 7 more months of Autumn until summer again.
  5. Crazy how much cooler it feels once the sun goes behind the trees. That’s what separates this from true summer. Even when the sun goes behind trees or isn’t beating on you, it’s still hot.
  6. Without the wind would be even more perfect. Wind is kinda ruining it
  7. Records:Highs:EWR: 92 (1983)NYC: 93 (1983)LGA: 90 (1983)JFK: 85 (1997) Back in those days NYC was hotter than either EWR or LGA lol.
  8. didn't we have over 2 inches of rain just a few weeks ago Chris??
  9. wow 1983 truly was a historic summer, I miss that kind of sustained heat..... on the flip side, the cold of 1993-94 got started on this date. we did flip back to Indian summer in November with our latest 80 on record on the 15th, but it was just a blip in time for the NYC Marathon. The heat only lasted 2 days.
  10. Interestingly back lawn is greening up a bit and dare i say could be cut Sent from my SM-S921U using Tapatalk

  16. Euro is wet late Tuesday…we pray.
  17. Hoping the cutoff low to the SW can finally end the 13th longest daily streak with under 1.00” here since early May. 18. I just looked at HPC QPF page. Here is the 7-day total. I downloaded it about an hour ago and then did a bunch of work, but... Not too impressive for here, at all.
  19. If you could only choose one option, what would you take? Option 1: Dec 2018 redo but the remainder of winter has above average temps. Option 2: Three snowfall events with varying amounts and a seasonal total of 10”. Wall to wall cold.
  20. First snow for some showing up in clown range
  21. Extremely unsettled pattern ahead next week. Very high humidity, low diurnal temperature difference, high dews from all the moisture.
