  2. Yes, and these so-called *fees* are being used to line their own pockets, this is what Hochul pointed out yesterday. All those profits go right to their execs and shareholders. They remind me of Big Pharma, both are vultures who feed off their customers.
  3. It's their fault in the sense of how much money their execs and shareholders make, they get fat on our backs. We need a salary cap for execs too.
  4. Hochul pointed this out as why she was against Con Ed increasing costs, the execs get fat on our backs. exec salaries should be chopped in half. I would go even further and create a ceiling on how much they can make.
  5. I've been doing landscaping work this morning since 9 am and it's actually perfect weather for it.
  6. They were all so extreme back then. We don't get the extreme and lengthy heatwaves like we did back in 1993 and 1999 anymore. It's just too wet to get that anymore. What we get now is 2-3 days of extreme heat like we did in June, which is the most extreme heat we've seen since 2011. The cool summers you describe, would you say 2014 was the last one to be like that? It came right after the hot summer streak of 2010-2013.
  7. dude... take a deep breath... have some herbal tea... take a nap... this is the kinda behavior that makes everyone cheer for a BA season, just to see you take an L
  8. It's crazy that ewr may end up with under .25" for the week
  9. Gotta say it’s been many a year since I’ve seen water like this…Its what makes this hobby so damn interesting

  11. Yeah I don't think there's gonna be much activity this afternoon, but we'll see.
  12. 66/64 stratus 250 feet overhead. Only around .10" over the past many days. Can anyone spare an 1"?
  13. I'm happy for the unexpected 0.42" last night. That modest addition more than tripled July precip.
  14. Today
  15. Models have very little this afternoon but Upton and Mt holly are going 60% chance of showers
  16. Yesterday was one of the more impressive non-tropical summertime rainfalls we’ve had in a long time from a coverage perspective. Pretty much every location from the triad through the Triangle picked up at least 1.5” of rain and many areas had 2-3” obviously with some totals much higher than that
  17. Yeah I saw that cell popping up on radar last night before I went to sleep. I thought it would miss me just a little to the northwest, and that's what happened. I got only 0.23" from last night's steady rain, but at least it was enough to give the garden a watering.
