Yes. August 13, 2024. Islip had 13.51" of rain. Bridgeport had 1.66", Central Park had 0.53", JFK Airport had 2.92"; LaGuardia Airport had 0.78", and Newark had 0.34".

Awful forecast for the Lehigh Valley. Airport got a few hundredths of an inch. I am southwest corner of the Valley and got more at 0.62” but not close to the Noah’s Ark forecast! .

I only received .30” on my weather station in Whitestone, Queens. A few miles east of me from Douglaston to Port Washington received 4”-6”. Insanity.

Was in Manhasset area for work during the deluge. Was insanity. Everything flooded. Highways closed. Cars stranded. Reminded me of Ida. 4”-6” of rain in 2-3 hours.

I see 1.4-1.8 for you. I’m fine with half inch. Have almost 10” this month.

about the same here but the rain was never very heavy but it did rain for 3 hours we had about the same amount during the last long lasting deluge too

wow Philly has been really hot, how many times has NYC had 20 90 degree readings in a month Don? Only July 1993 and July 1999? what's the JFK record for 90 degree days in one month Don? It has to be from July 2010?

As an example of how convective rainfall can drench areas while others see little rainfall, July 28, 2012 saw 2.98” fall at Islip and just 0.07” at JFK Airport.

for all those heavy echoes it didn't rain all that hard here but it did rain for 3 hours and we ended up with 1.5 inches about the same as last time

it wasn't really heavy but it rained for a few hours, we got about an inch and a half just like last time.
