Radar looks great, but it's virga, as no flakes yet...I'm at the intersection of 287 and the NJTPK, under 10-20 dBZ

Def wasn’t saturated .. barely flurries with that band . Looks like an area of moderate borderline heavy snow is approaching the NY state border. Good sign for later. .

I’d also say EOR spent more time in the low 40’s than WOR and y’all had 7-8” vs our 3-6.

That is pretty accurate here, measured between 3 and 4 in the yard today...still sleddable too, not a solid glacier

Hopefully it stays together. Would love to end the New Year with some Thundersnow

But like I said… Supply a radical enough reconstruction of those flow components and then it’ll happen maybe Nothing is impossible

Honestly it’s the strangest pack I’ve had or seen around these parts. Most yards are between 70-100% . It’s literally different coverage in every yard .. and a lot is dependent on if the slope faces south or north . I’d be lying if I said 100 because it’s not . Grass under some trees . Other parts of my lawn have 2”. But if you look up and down any street it looks like deep winter
