  2. Partly sunny! Temperature has exploded to 60F with the sun 9.90" rain in May
  3. Probably was a small / localized event... I have experienced a couple of similar events across this part of Burlington that never registered anything on USGS...
  4. I don't think it will be, but I am open-minded about it...if we are still stuck in this pattern beyond the next solar min, then I will change my tune. Agree, or disagree, I think I have been pretty consistent about that. I pushed back on all of the west warm pool stuff at first, but that last El Nino changed my mind, so I have shown that I will acquiesce when the data warrants. This isn't a bias at play. I am on board with the warming....no contest. However, my baseline assumption is that ultimately earth will find a way to offset enough of this to acheieve balance and maintain the osciallations that we have always seen. I unerstand that may be incorrect, but I won't change my stance on that until I am convinced that everything has become stagnant for long enough that the oscillations as we knew them have changed. I know Chris feels that has already happened, but I think there is a pretty convincing case that it has not. I am not moving any goalposts......if this pattern persists throughout the early 2030s, then I will be convinced that the system as I knew it has changed and will offer a tip of the cap to Chris.

  8. It'll never be permanent thanks to the sun, just a little frustrating to snow weenies
  9. No you wouldn't. Yeah, I'm thinking popcorn type stuff tomorrow.
  10. maybe the house settling lol. There was no gust of wind or anything. I didn't feel any shaking but it went from dead silence to this audibly loud rumble and the house creaked simultaneously which sounded like it started with the walls and then with the roof/attic and different parts. Hole thing was maybe a 2 second ordeal. I checked around outside and didn't see anything that had fallen onto the house.
  11. Detroit vs International Falls May avg temp update. DTW: 58.3F INL: 56.2F
  12. NNJ light rain / showers lingering
  13. Fair enough. But people do it anyway lol. They get mad when a snowstorm misses or underproduces and start talking about spring or severe. The best thing about weather is that anyone can wish for whatever they want, but no one has any control over it!
  14. Clouds stingy to break up but getting brighter. Im not sold on mostly sunny tomorrow or Sunday with piece of energy ejecting out of the GL mostly dry but could cloudy things up and even some spotty showers later in the evening. Monday should go mostly sunny. Hoping its sunnier of course. getting there
  15. Today
  16. Yeah and I don't really see anything on social media or anything. I wonder WTF that was.
  17. Nobody else felt anything? There was a very evident rumble with some shaking then the whole house creaked. My girlfriend was sleeping since she is pretty sick and it woke her up.
  18. Nothing showing on USGS https://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/map/?extent=13.15438,-148.44727&extent=57.13624,-41.57227
  19. The soundtrack at the party has this on repeat.
