2.25” Moderate to heavy rates. Roads are a mess here in the Gardner/Hubbardston area.

If its not snowing give me a day like today. 30s and raining.

Am taking care of my friend’s horses again this week. The mud is real. She lives up on Furnace Mountain and her main paddock is on a hill. Had to dig in all of my balance to not wipeout. Heading back soon for the night feed. Damp cold gray can go away.

still not great, but yeah better, most around there are 2+ -
I'm more bothered by backdoor action than late season polar vortex drops. Today is probably in top 5 miserable day of the winter. Looking forward to mist and 48 into May.
-
Yep. sleet moving steadily north. Hoipefully an inch.
-
Man, this is the type of stuff that would give us a quick 6” in 4 hours if we stayed all snow. Good ratios and growth right now with temps in upper 20s.

Just absolute dank deep gray fog in downtown baltimore at 3:30 pm in the afternoon. Like, something out of the movie set conception of fog. Gross. At 36 degrees. Just...blah.
-
Kind of F’ed us here…good storm with the wind and blizzard conditions and all…but 13-14” is a let down compared to what others had…literally 48-50% of what you/they(SE Mass) had. That does leave a sting behind. Still a great winter though for me…but that keeps it from A+ for me. Unless we Get a good one in March… that could certainly redeem somewhat..but that’s a big IF as of now.

Quarter inch or so. No wind. Nice stuff for the time being.
-
My 1/2 mile reference marker finally got obscured. We pound. Let see if we can pick up a quick 1-2” in this batch before the pingers

I know . I was joking . Trees will get a nice boob sag though . Won’t go above freezing until sometime tomorrow morning . Better than tracking a failed week of 70’s

Not even sure we get a half inch of QPF. We might but the accretion on limbs will be roughly 40% of that if it’s pure ZR….less if you are mixing with IP for a while.
