Is that still on tap for next weekend? I’ve had upper 70’s-low 80’s at best in the extended forecast for 2 days now
-
I don’t see anything post on 7/31 like this from him. #Moregarbage

And then dews and 85-90 into the weekend. What a tool.

It's over.

I feel that pain my friend because it happens entirely too much for me.

Crazy rotten luck last winter for nyc. It's very rare nowadays to get below normal temps and snow.
-
Similar to yesterday earlier in the afternoon, thunderstorms with some heavy rains have just popped up including here along the seabreeze. Rain starting and just heard thunder.
-
Yes. Anything to prevent us getting snowfall will indeed occur.

Excellent post. Erin is really struggling to reorganize after the EWRC. Personally I think it may be down sloping same dry air off the mountains of Hispaniola. The sw quadrant seems to be the issue currently. -
Car thermometer hit 100 driving home from Silver Spring this afternoon. (Beltway at 50). Down to 89 by home. My station hit 89 also for the hottest August day so far. Did not expect it.

I think those sprinkles is all I get today.

That’s pretty telling. Love those charts for context. Opposite of July.

1. I get that, but it's not like the monsoon season in Phoenix exists in a bubble that doesn't affect other cities in the region. 2. Sure, but the warming part is clearly exaggerated in Phoenix by other factors. 3. This completely ignores the reality of increased UHI in Phoenix metro, particularly around the airport area. Why do you think PHX is such an outlier compared to other AZ cities? This is the most sensible answer.

Reporting from OCMD next couple of weeks. Beautiful day and ocean is warm. Will be watching the surf increase this week.
