  1. Past hour
  2. I've been getting asked all day about it at work. It's all people have been talking about. I'm surprised everyone is that in tune.
  3. yeah the hype for today has been unbelievable, you'd think the 1974 super outbreak was happening... I have family scattered all around the east coast and all of them have been asking me what's going on with the tornado outbreak. I understand preparing the public to be storm aware but closing schools and stuff is so silly...
  4. If they interrupt General Hospital for the stupid weather, I'm gonna throw a hissy fit like none other!!
  5. Man! Talk about splitting the uprights in the break of line of storms! Line missed to my north and south. lol. I didn't even get heavy rain.
  6. Looks like a good amount of stratiform rain coming now, should be good for spring vegetation.
  7. Power's out yet again. Same substation that's been having issues for the last 2 years now. It's almost a weekly basis at this point. Each time it puts downtown and around 3500 residents out of power. Remind me what I'm paying a $550 electric bill for?
  8. The lack of CAPE prevented a tornado outbreak, but it couldn't supress the 5"/hr rain rates.

  10. It's 58 here. 2 miles east it's 47. Will be a nothing burger east of 95 and 287.
  11. And another factor for any forced line later (or synoptic winds, for that matter) is that for areas that get a dumping of heavy rain - the soggy ground could make even sub-severe gusts capable of tree damage.
  12. Man, fuck wxbell. JB could have at least tweaked the maps.
  13. I'm all in. @NorthArlington101, where are the maps.
  14. That's amazing! The ground is white up on Hemphill Bald just above Cataloochee with heavy snow. 37 at the base with a rain/snow mix and just above the base is all snow now. My temperature is down to 42 now and falling fairly quickly.
  15. I have friends and in SE Bucks and Delco family blowing up my phone asking about these tornadoes and dire severe warnings with schools letting out early. Apparently the local news is breaking in to TV shows about it. Oh brother....
  16. WxBell doesn’t show nearly that much. Sorry. Funny though.
  17. Yeah, these 50+ dbz returns are definitely putting out 3-5"/hr rain rates.
