Breezy out there for sure…but certainly Not impressive so far at all…but was thinking it wouldn’t be. Wind forecasts almost always disappoint here. Tropical systems, and convection(T.Storms) and Blizzards, now that’s where it can get wild here. Otherwise it’s almost always a snoozer. This looks to be the same old nothing. Unless it Ramps up later into something extraordinary…but doubtful.

After hours of white rain and mangled flakes at 3,000ft... it's finally starting to accumulate. Looks like we have until 4-5am before it tapers off. My mtn forecast was for 2-5" at that location so we'll see. I think we can get 2+... 4-5" will be tough on that elevated snowboard. It's gusting 40-50mph up there and moving more sideways than landing on the platform, too.

We’ve had some 50 ish gusts for sure. But I was thinking 60. They come in ebbs and flows. Quiet for a a bit and then a series of 5-10 minutes of big rips . Always seems to happen like that

We've had a few gusts here and there maybe 35 to perhaps 40 but pretty quiet overall. I can't hear the wind from inside. I actually had some better gusts for a short period yesterday evening.

I actually think AI outperforms the ensembles at that range. Averaging 50 runs that try to "solve" the atmosphere is a fools errand. I'll take pattern recognition any day.

Just got very windy here on the eastern side of the Spine down in the valley. Inversion aloft looks to be lowering a bit and compressing the air over the ridges, accelerating it down the eastern slopes. Coinciding with the upslope band migrating ever so subtly westward too.
