Light snow here in Bayside. Looks light and fluffy. Nice to see winter storm warnings posted to our west. We won’t get one here, just wondering how much qpf was lost to white rain in the beginning

12/14: Sunday funday? Will the south win again?
Weather Will replied to TSSN+'s topic in Mid Atlantic
About an inch on lawn. Streets and sidewalks mostly just wet. Pretty scene but warm surface temps made it an underperformer in MBY. -
Yeah I’m just a tad to the northeast of you. Unless things drastically pick up in the next few hours, I won’t get more than an inch or two on cold surfaces. Pavement caved 2 and a half hours ago and still just has a light coating. It’s been snowing consistently but it’s been light and it’s seemingly just not really adding up much at all.

This is probably something to take to PMs. You can't wish that somebody ended themselves and then dox them by stating their real name.

Temp is nose diving. 19 and wind picking up with snow pouring. Definitely think we’re gonna hit a foot here.

One of these days I'd love to be under a nice yellow band...but for some reason in "bandy" storm like this they can't seem to form over northern Baltimore for whatever reason. It's usually northwest or southwest...weird. -

31f with light-moderate snow 1.25” wet snow, in spring Twp Berks cnty. need the temp to fall back a few degrees so we can get the fluff factor going. Banding seems to be just to the East of me. 2-4” looks like a good call. Going back to bed, I’m fairly certain I’ll miss the good stuff. -

Incredibly, it's been mostly white rain in south philly up to this point. Just a trace accumulation on raised surfaces. The urban heat island has been especially strong. Going to come under forecast, maybe pick up one inch or two with the cold front on the back end? I knew there would be marginal temps but thought middle of the night might work in our favor... -

Staying up for now, beautiful steady light to moderate snowfall. No wind, just peacefully falling small flakes. Pretty happy, this is needed.
