  1. Past hour
  2. Ahh the ACATT charts surface once deep summer locks in. Those charts are lol
  3. Didn't you just reference the Euro? Watch that seabreeze fella
  4. Scary heat to some pretty meh to most. Couple of HHH days has them cooped up in AC
  5. I remember being in 6th period newspaper and itching to go home (I lived right through the woods). Literally sprinted (also had to take a leak because the bathrooms at school sucked LOL) and made it home with just enough time to track the line rolling in. I remember seeing tons of tree debris flying through the air. As bad as 6/4/2008 was - I think it was outclassed by the 2012 derecho pretty easily.
  6. It actually feels hot. I'm wearing shorts too...short sleeved shirt and shorts. I'd actually probably be dying if I was wearing jeans.
  7. Weekend looks good here. 80 or more each day on Euro.
  8. The smoke put a damper on temps out here, thankfully it's clearing out now. High of only 75 at ISP so far, actually cooler than yesterday's high of 77.
  9. Up to 86/52 now. Really nice heater out there.
  10. alright ..it's a little warm. not quite 'hot' per se, but please don't sit so close to me warm
  11. I had a cape before this house-impossible to get cool air upstairs and the roofline was right there-no attic...terrible.
  12. If we can see it start to dip into negative around 50mb this will be a good sign of an overall weaker SPV no guarantees of anything other than probably not the near record levels we just saw. A lot of things still need to come together over the next few months. Still have yet to see a tropical system in the WPAC beat out last year but looking further into data it seems like the 8th of June is the latest for tropical storm and typhoon is the 21st.
  13. My current house is from 1985 and doesn't have it, but my neighbors does. I'm jealous. Like Brian said, it was perfect to put on for like 30 minutes during evenings like yesterday. The breeze it created was awesome too. My old house being a split level with the bedrooms on top level and the a/c unit pushing air from the basement that was pretty much 4 levels down was useless. Up to 86 here
  14. Obsolete-most of those are being torn down here and replaced with bigger homes
  15. 85 and a tad hazy. Hopefully lawn and plants can fully take in this sun and warmth for a while.
  16. My house is from the 50s and it doesn't have jack sht lol
  17. I found this going back a little further. From 1854-1896, that phase seemed overall cool I would say even though the chart doesn't outline that. So maybe this cool phase could last even longer? Hope not though! https://www.daculaweather.com/4_pdo_index.php This is pretty cool link for pdo as well.
  18. Funny thing is that I thought it was worse 2-3 years ago and then wasn’t as bad last year during the dry heat season.
