Let’s go Ole Miss!

Rubenstein is mainly concerned about real estate development around the ballpark. He could change the front office, spend a little money, and make this team legit contenders. But being mediocre still makes him money. Lots of money.

What? The GFS and ECMWF show extended storminess, unlike anything I can recall in Sep. Even before the rain, that E fetch sets up and sticks around for almost a week? Do you know what kind of coastal flooding that will result in w/ the water piled up constantly for so long? That sprawling high stuck to the N is epic for Sep. 1036 mb? That would be excellent for the heart of winter. And the GFS and ECMWF both shows it well. And they way it tries to reload for coastals as the blocking stays in place? And then big QPF wildcard. I guess b/c it is isn't snow, @CoastalWx doesn't care? Jaded, tattered, and torn from the "boring" pattern, and when something potentially historic for an extended Nor'easter so early in the season for the NEUS shows up, he be like "MEH!" Very, very disappointed in you! -

We had them here since June all the way up against the mainland. Everything moving north cow nose rays, cobia, snowy grouper Drum [Black Red] Pelicans etc -
I must pay like $1 for every blade of grass that actually sprouts. Absurd expensive

I’m an idiot and do the aerating and seeding. I put tall fescue on all of my lawn and a shade mix under the trees. It’s all stupid.
-
Love it. Mid 60s and cloudy, classic fall feel with the breeze. And it's during the week instead of a weekend.

2026 Atlantic Hurricane Season

I spoke too soon. Strong anticyclonic shear is disrupting the core in the last few hr and the circulation getting elongated again. I would be surprised if they upgrade it to a TS at 03z, unless they get a good ASCAT or SAR pass showing TS-force winds. -
Fingers crossed! I squeezd in a buzz cut for my yard this evening just before dark and will hopefully be able to get some seed down tomorrow morning. Did you just go with one of the big bags of fescue blend from home depot/Lowe's?

My friend’s brother works for a trucking company I guess. He drove a 10,000 gallon tanker full of kerosene up the Mount Washington auto road last week to the summit. They have to do it at night with police etc. nuts -

Highs in the 50s/cloudy/breezy, that gets my blood flowing. Then 40s w/a stray flurry (hallucination or not) then I enter winter mode.... 63F/DP 57F at 7:55pm
