A 40% chance of partly sunny, a 30% chance of a coating to 5 inches, and a 30% chance of 5" - 12". They'll apologize when it turns out cloudy.

That area has a lot of higher elevated valleys with small hills. That’s different than your hill or KORH that stick out prominently. Then again I think blue hill got below 32 as well. Regardless that’s a big part of it.

Started physical therapy today. Tonight my shoulder huuuurts, understandably. But the streak of absolute amazing weather continues. I don’t remember the last time we had such a sustained period of perfect autumn.

Temps are relative. What made that winter work was the -AO/NAO combo. It was beastly and persistent. Still took some luck to get those epic storms. And it was mild in between. We shall see if something like that can transpire again.

at least there's an actual low pressure to argue about

Probably. The defense is lost. Most of the players are either young underachievers, or older and washed up- but making a lot of money. All on DeCosta. He built it.

Why is Mark saying surface impacts are expected to start in mid-Nov? @Stormchaserchuck1said it takes 30-45 days, which wouldn’t be til Dec. Does he need clicks and likes that badly? -

Hard to argue. Both seem washed. Humphrey has been for a couple years at least. Plus he is a pain in the ass.

Pretty good take by Wink. He knows the defensive tradition with the Ravens. He was aggressive as a coordinator. Maybe he should be hired as a consultant.

Briefly is likely. The problem along 95 is the time of year. Water temps are still in the low 60s in the north east. So even if we get a couple 40/70 tracks in the time frame it’s hard to pull anything off. We saw that with October 11 storm. If it had been a month later 95 would have seen 12”+ totals. Our best bet is a second disruption in late January that gives us a window in February. .
