Definitely trending better with the northern stream and cutting it off sooner and further west. Maybe it works out for us. GfS usually handles the northern stream better. Its terrible with the southern stream

Any updates on timing if this happens? Sunday morning flights to EWR seem safe? .

This past storm has 100-200 mile adjustments within the last 60 hours prior to starting. This one is trickier since its purely a phasing system versus a massive juiced up southern wave so a lot needs to go right at the right moment to bury everyone, but a 150 mile shift with more than 96 hours to go is not impossible .

Extremely. Unlike the last storm, this one basically blows up right at our latitude. Last one was mature and loaded with moisture well before the approach. This storm is going to be explosive wherever it rapidly deepens. That's a lock. Where that happens depends entirely on how the upper levels transpire

Agreed. there's a good 15 inches here maybe compacted down to 10-12 but the piles are huge
