  2. Sitting at 6.07" of rain in Fort Wayne at my wx station, north of the city. Unreal for September! Miss the blue skies and zzzs we normally get this time of year.
  3. Could today have been the last 80 or higher degree day for Central Park this year?
  4. 0.10” so far but mod rain Looks pretty cool after Friday with a lot of NE flow next week.
  5. Ha. I don’t have issues with them although I did have one that was way past ripe and it left me feeling buzzed. Baking with them can definitely give you GI issues. Where did you get yours?
  6. This GOA low starting to show up as we roll into October. It's kind of something similar to what one would expect to see showing up during el nino in October. Ensembles advertising this look to start out the month. One could say The Aleutian low is simply biased east from the following composite. Thinking that might very well be a plausible idea given the east based nature of this particular event. In addition to the residual state of the north Pacific but let's see how that entire month verifies and evolves. If we envision a roadmap purely from the nino composite, we should see that low eventually retrograde and the ridge just west of the dateline get squashed.
  7. @dendrite I've been eating paw paws all week, awesome !! Make you regular as can be

  15. Today
  16. .70" 2 - 4............. I am starting to believe that the strong El Nino is beginning to affect atmospherics.
  17. Missed the afternoon stuff but got a very isolated morning downpour. .17” on the day and about .90” for the month. This is the first time all summer that my lawn looks stressed. I don’t know why it’s so difficult to get a good grass seed season around here.
  18. The Farmington co-op reached an incredible pack of 84" after getting 43" from the late Feb 1969 endless snowstorm. (For 48 years that was Maine's tallest, until Chimney Pond reached 94" in 2017.) Second place is 56", recorded in both 1971 and 1993. In that latter winter, they had only a trace on the ground at their Jan 31 obs - 7 AM at that time. Feb-Mar brought a total of 97", with Feb storms of 13", 14" and 17" followed by a 15" dump and 18" from the superstorm, to build all 56" in just 6 weeks. The 12" storm early in April capped the season.
  19. I worked at a Price Chopper supermarket at the time and the sales that week were recording breaking for the time and store. The cops had to be called that Friday night before it started for two jabronies fighting over the last loaf of bread.
  20. That's a 2std -PDO pattern.. obviously continues to hold the crown as correlation leader in the N. Pacific.
