I'm really not interested in throwing anyone under the bus. I want to make sure that I'm handling myself appropriately. It's just hard knowing that stuff is going on that while not directed specifically at me, it's obvious that I'm the target. I only said what I said to explain why I don't say much anymore. Don't really wish to offend.

Good to hear! When I left for work this morning I was stunned at how humid it still was. Dewpoint was 62, now it's down to 53.

Today is the climatological peak of the season and this is what the basin has looked like for 2026 with no new storms in sight.

Oh and the record for the latest forming hurricane during the satellite era was on September 11th in 2002 and 2013. We're poised to break that record easily tomorrow.
