Agree 100% on the time of year. Several years ago I had the AC cranked on Christmas Eve.

Since Tuesday a general 2.5" to 5.0" of very welcome rainfall has taken place across Chester County.

It really comes down to what the people you live with can deal with. Our heat is at 67 because I know my wife would be miserable if the house was low-mid 60s. If I lived here alone, it would be a different story.
