Yeah from a 30,000’ view point 78 is king. But for PVD to EWB region, the snowfall and snow rates probably won’t ever be topped. I don’t think people realize how hard it snowed there.

But this area still Did well. Yeah overall, 2022 was the first time this area jacked since 2005, and before that 1996. So it really doesn't happen all that frequently like many people think. Going by PVD records, the top five are 2026, 1978, 1996, 2005, and 2022. Outside of those, we have done good in several like you said but nothing S tier like out west. Jan 2011, Feb 2013, Jan 2015, Feb 2017, and Jan 2018 all dropped over a foot here, but then between Jan 2022 and Jan 2026 we got barely anything at all. People say it's always SEMA but we've been screwed over for a long time too, and Rhode Island in particular! I remember for many years it seemed like every major storm had the entire state in a snow hole. 2022 and 2026 was their redemption I guess. Generally in coastals further east and northeast does better than Seekonk. Better proximity to ocean.

Agreed. Seekonk is more in line with RI climo than the rest of SEMA. You guys definitely do better in coastals than RI does. It's very rare to get an RI jack. Even in 2005, I remember that Seekonk only got like 15" officially. Not sure how accurate that was though since it felt like way more than that as a kid. 2026 was by far the biggest storm for Seekonk on record. Snow maps from 1978 have us with like 20" here. WinterWolf
78 was a 2 footer here…unfortunately this one fell short for my area with only 13-15” here. Feb ‘13 was the one that dethroned 1978 for my area. I’ll probably never see 6”/hr again ever. But at least I did that night. Amazing. So I know what providence and surrounding areas there saw. Now that’s Hoth. Ginx snewx
I definitely love any one getting big snows and yes I have been in Rays position many many times. Shit in 05 I had 14 just east 2 to 3 feet. In 07/08 I had less than half season total than Woodstock 10 miles north and everyone north of that. Won't complain as I am all about Karma. Just look at Touch Tiger
