Really isn't a difference with that wind. Only us geeks will know

My chickens will notice a difference in their run…and the peach buds may too.

Mins through 12z this morn. Rad pits gone wild again

ICON was west too. GFS brings it straight in.

Either way, this weekend is going to suck.

I was thinking it would not get that cold this morning.  My bad. It is amazing down here looking out at the lawns, how they look exactly as they did when the snow fell. Pretty rare here

Once again... way warmer than you for my house.  12F this morning

Yup, I was 14°, but going through the pit near Devens on RT2 it was 0. At least on the car. Fakeiators.

Haven't seen the ground yet on the paths the kids shoveled and plowed to the coop. Yesterday's ice on the driveway refroze dark surfaces melt ...

you can see the clear roof panels I have on the south side. I get a lot of direct and reflected radiation on the path. So it’s fake melting.

My wife is panicking about "her" chickens freezing to death after hearing on the news about-20wind chills. So we went again through the wind chills stuff and I assured her they  would be fine in the double insulated coop out of the wind.
