the ETA model is basically the predecessor to the NAM - and, I think it was DT who said if you had agreement between the ETA and the Euro, it was basically a lock (this has not surprisingly been proven NOT to be the case always, but still).

Icon is a move towards the everyone but the GFS camp with a better angle of the NS which acts to pull our SW east 0z on top with 18z on bottom

At 84…some positives in the ICON.  Less suppressive over the NE and maybe a bit more interaction out west with the Cali Sw and the NS S/W

ICON looks pretty decent so far.  Def some interaction going on and seems like the baja energy is further east

I like that the sw has only one closed isobar instead of three. Much easier for that NS wave behind it to open it up and eject east
