marsman
From 45 at 4:05am to 69 at 12:42pm. Lower high than I expected, I think the clouds helped keep the temp down a bit.

You got as much rain in 24 hours as we’ve had last 4 months combined

But pretty sure its the highest 24 hour period i've measured.
kvegas-wx
Tons of reports of flurries all the way into the triad! Have to think with the wind these flurries are being blown for miles out of the foothills.
CoolBreeze
I'm not sure if we're getting sleet or snow. It's not clear ice like sleet and isn't bouncing off the driveway like sleet. It looks more like tiny round white snowballs, not snowflakes. What is that? It's coming down pretty hard.

NorthHillsWx
Pretty big temp discrepancy right now between my house and my farm. We’re sitting at 35.4 at home right now and the farm near Louisburg has already fallen to 25.9. Almost a 10 degree different between the two counties. Ideal radiational cooling conditions in rural areas right now

So there is nearly 10 degree gradient in under 1 mile! I’ve seen this out there before and I am convinced my farm sits in the coldest spot in the county. On the car thermometer it is almost a given to drop 5+ degrees from the blacktop to the farmhouse on top of the drive. Very interesting evening, figured I’d share

I hate cloudy torch nights in winter I especially hate torch nights where there are no clouds but some how temps do not drop.
