gravitylover
Man... This could be over now It did get lighter for a little while but then ramped right back up about an hour ago. Now it's pounding small flakes, drilling into everything, on a stiff NE wind. At least the visibility is better because the flakes are so small. Pretty much the only engine sounds are snowblowers, chainsaws and quads and only one plow guy has been down my street all day. I stepped a few feet into the front yard and went in up to my crotch. There's a lot of snow out there.
BxEngine
My snowblower is on its absolute last leg. Leaking oil from a few spots, now only 1 damn tire spins so its even harder to control, and it takes forever to warm up enough to not die when i release the choke. Had a nice run, made it through this storm. Heres to home depot deals in march lol

Bottom few inches were very moisture laden but the rest was very fluffy.
gravitylover
Snowblower? Mine looks suspiciously like a shovel. It never leaks, it's lightweight and easy to handle so if I twist and flick just right it has a pretty good throw distance. If I twist wrong the shear pin still breaks though.
BxEngine
Shall i list my injuries that keep me from shoveling 2 feet of snow? Lol
gravitylover
Hence the shear pin sarcasm 1

It works great! I keep up with the maintenance on it and use fuel stabilizer. I use the Sno-Jet spray to prevent snow and ice accumulation in the auger and discharge shoot and it really helps when there’s a wet/shulshy snowfall.

CPcantmeasuresnow
Final here 15.3 inches. I certainly can't complain with more than half of Orange county under 6. Sharp dividing line that no models had until a couple of hours before go time, and then only a few.

gravitylover
There's a bunch of 18-19s east of me but they missed the best of the def zone dump that sat over me for hours. This one has bigger drifts than the one last month but, because it's so much warmer, compacted and condensed quickly. Did I break 20? Probably but there's no place on my property that wasn't badly wind affected so I'll never really know. I think my back has aged out of fully appreciating 2 blockbusters in a month
gravitylover Posted just now Share Posted just now Update; Looks like there are some 21 and 22s within a few miles on 3 sides of me so I'm going with it. 2 storms put me at the 1981-2010 average, the clipper parade before the storm last month put me over the 91-2020 average
