I also can't get out was counting on the ice driveway on a steep hill melting. May be the first time iced in since 1994

I was iced last January, as well as in late February/early March 2015.

I just went up a degree.  It has been hovering around 32/33 for hours and whatever frozen was sitting on/in my weather station rain gauge spout, has begun to melt and tip the bucket (at 0.07" at post time).

Had bottomed out at 23 just after 2 am and am currently at my high of 34, with changeable skies (have had sun pop in and out today).  Have been watching that precip field but have had nothing but virga here when the sun wasn't out.

33f humidity 85% dew point 29f light rain this was a lot closer to frozen than I thought.

Doctors office/ambulance calls have to be high. Left and right there are slick spots for a younger guy. An older person will take a spill just like that. Won't spill the holiday beverage thankfully but the hip will be disjointed...

The only thing the Birds have to play for is if they win the last two games and Chicago who plays tonight loses the last two games then we get the number two seed. Which means two home playoff games....kinda rather important. Bears play tonight. 

As far as old people falling on the sidewalks, Bucks county seems to be someone prime according to radar...
