I apparently ended up with a white rain yesterday because usually events like that might have the initial burst sticking to the cars and grass and mulch but didn't even have that - all of that was mostly wet so it would just melt right in.

Ended up with a high of 40 yesterday after a 33 low, 0.07" for the event, & 3.08" of total precip. for the month of November.

Currently 39 and partly sunny with dp 28.

This morning's wintry mix our 2nd winter event of the season should slowly change to plain rain as we rise above freezing in most spots by later this morning. Some higher ridge spots may take into the early PM to get above freezing. Be careful if out driving this morning. Either way the rain will end later today, and we will stay much colder than normal for the rest of the week. Our warmest day looks to be tomorrow with temperatures near 10 degrees below normal for early December. We turn even colder by Friday with highs remaining below freezing for much of the area. There is a slight chance of some light snow on Friday night.

Come on now we know this is coming north!  It’s been a while look a cold high up north and the cold air daming wedge is in place!  Hello old friend!  Let’s go!!! I like December 5th and 9th especially the 9th.

And even if the Friday and Tuesday storms miss we have a parade of clippers to look forward to for the next two weeks. Pretty active pattern for this time of year.

Our well below normal temperature pattern for December looks to continue for much of the next couple of weeks. Tomorrow night and Friday look to be our coldest temperatures so far this young winter season. By Friday morning, the lows will be in the low to mid-teens with highs on Friday remaining below freezing. We will also see multiple chances of some light snow over the next couple of weeks. Our first chance of some measurable snow looks to arrive Friday afternoon into the evening. None of these look significant but if they were to occur they would certainly add to the holiday spirit.
