DocATL
Looks like a good opportunity for Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, and Michigan to get some late season snow. Prospects for ORD hitting its average is dicey.

Though, you might not know it happened.

Baum
Stumbled on this: BRINGING A RETURN TO COLDER CONDITIONS, POSSIBLY ACCOMPANIED BY WIND DRIVEN ACCUMULATING SNOW SOMEWHERE IN THE GREATER REGION. IF THIS WERE TO HAPPEN IN OUR AREA, IT WOULD BE A CLASSIC CASE OF MARCH "WEATHER WHIPLASH".

Pretty sure the only bad stretch last spring was the mid-late May period.

RogueWaves
All signs from nature are screaming real winter's over. Couple counties south this morning have greening grass and worms out. I've got summer birds here even. Sucky cold spells are typical spring thing for NMI so I'm hardly saying last flakes have flown but this and last winter have closely paralleled one another and I expect that will be the case as we continue. Just hoping the crap 3rd week of May doesn't repeat. Worst in a century so the odds are against ofc. I'm just 0.9" ahead of last season's total, and that difference is the 1" bigger largest storm vs last winter. Would be wild if I can go without more measurable snow. DocATL
Signal remains strong...but still a week out More likely for Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Less likely for Illinois. Rain prospects are decent though.

DocATL
Will be more than one shotI hope not. Just put together a 12ft goal for the kids. I’m ready to turn the page 12z GFS was good though we’d have to contend with 3 or 4 cold days.

Still applies now. I can't ever recall seeing such inconsistency in the medium/long range, even the ensembles are struggling.
OrdIowPitMsp
Very active look around my parts. Several inches possible midweek and big dog potential on the table next weekend. Whether it snows or not, just wonderful to have multiple events to track for once.
