Rain/sleet mix and 31.2. Finished with 0.5" of snow and sleet which is right about what I thought.

The GFS got absolutely schooled by the NAM for down this way.

Just saw that officially in Lancaster (MU) the official snowfall total was zero. Nothing measurable fell.

Huge flakes now. It’s ripping pretty good. 
 

That is a scientific weather term.

Roads are awful. Drove from West Hanover Township (by CD High) to Penn State Nyes Road and back between 8 and 9 this morning. Took 22 because I thought it would be better than Jonestown Road. 22 was actually worse than the side streets. Someone was stuck going up the hill on Piketown/Blue Ridge right after you pass under 81 going toward 22.

Carlisle update...snow intensity has increased to a rate of 0.75" / hour...almost heavy but I'll still call it heavily moderate.  Temp 30.6 .

As this heavier batch of precip moves in, I've actually flipped back to a snow/sleet mix in Maytown. Just rain here at work now. 

Talking to some colleagues at work that live in southern Lanco and there was nothing at all. Just rain with a few ice pellets at the very beginning.

Moderate snow continues to fall. I haven't been outside but I'm eyeballing close to 4". Definitely did better than I expected to.

Just measured 2” now in Lebanon. Mostly snow but some sleet mixes in from time-to-time

He also just backtracked a bit by putting out a post saying how dynamic cooling was causing the mix line to drop back south and we should all end up with an inch or so now.

Leaving now.  Current obs is 2.0".  Temp 30.9.  Moderate to heavy snow right now.  End is rapidly approaching and the mix line is <10 miles south of me.  It's a race to the finish.

I thought he said that "he" would end up with 1"? He is at home in Dover. It's raining here at work, it is snowing moderately at home.

Just hit the 2" Mark in Tamaqua at 10:00am. Still a good, moderate snow here. Temp is slowly rising, sitting at 29.1 currently.

#SNOW CONTINUES:

The circled area needs to be watched in the next two hours for a nice "thump" of snow. This region will likely surpass 2" and, in the higher elevations, could surpass 4" if it really cranks. Notice the back end is nigh though. Exit after lunch. #27Weather #PAwx

I'm sorry, he did say "we" but I assumed he meant that for his area in which he lives.

Probably at least 4” up on Tussey Mountain (approx 10 miles south of State College), although not completely sure since i didn’t bring anything with me to measure. Right at the 3” mark at home, and similar here at camp off the mountain. Almost at the end of the precip, definitely a nice morning overall. Now to get a system that does this for another 18 hours or so haha.

Yeah who knows, I just kind of figured he meant anyone in our general latitudinal zone, and that a changeover back to a final thump of snow was on its way.  We'll see, I'm in a steady mix here.
