44 and rain with a robust wind from the south.

Don’t know exactly how much ice I got before the warm up, but that’s the most ice accretion I’ve ever seen here in Maggie. Like Met mentioned, this is still an ongoing event for many in Haywood County. One for the record books for sure.

Just measured limbs at the hours in the yard. About an average of .20in ZR.

Sitting at 23/22.

Not that windy here ( that's a stout wind that you have!!! ), but it's still windy. I am not a big fan of that with the ice accumulating.

Yeah this is extremely rare for here. Especially the other side of the county are in the 40s and im at 27 degrees with moderate freezing rain still.

Moderate to heavy ZR just moved in again. Temp still hanging at 23.

Temp is up to 35 here and power stayed on. Got very nervous around 4 with all the cracking and popping from the trees. Yall can keep this ice crap!

Good Lord...great pics, @Met1985 and TY for sharing...and please be as safe as you can. Ice accretion on trees and vegetation is always gorgeous, but UGH. Pretty sure none of us like going out in it.

Cranked it up to 36º in the last few hours. Got a lovely inch of slush that will be a blast when it refreezes- probably go shovel it off the driveway if it doesn't melt later. Went up like a rocket when the wedge broke. Meanwhile it is still 20/21 in Boone and Blowing Rock.

Awesome inversion from my back porch here in Black Mountain. I have around .25” of ice and it looks like the top of the neighborhood may be ice free. Wild storm and still more to come.

My yard is a solid sheet of ice. There was still about an inch of snow leftover from last weekend when this began. Well it's all ice now. I'm working on chipping it out of my driveway before it snows later. I'd like to be able to get out of my yard by Wednesday.

That's very different than what we've been expecting in Eastern N.C. For example it shows 0.45 ZR in Greenville when we've been expecting only 0.10 since yesterday. This would be awful!

Yeah this model is on crack. Not sure how it can be off so badly.

I'd say honestly the best model in the short range has been the GFS in my opinion.  The GFS  will handle the flow snow the best tonight also.
