Good ending to the half. The depleted D made some plays, their kicker choked, and ours made an easy one after a few good plays by Lamar. Hopefully its an emotional lift that carries over to the second half, but I doubt it makes much difference with so many key players out. Again, I just hope Lamar doesnt get hurt. He needs to be really smart and know when to get rid of it and live to play another down, because Spags is not going to do the Dean Pees thing. They are coming.

Don't you guys know that they just signed Harbaugh to a 3-year contract? You usually don't fire someone shortly after agreeing to a 3 year contract.

D-coordinator though.. sucks.

We can hope, even if it is unrealistic.

Pagano should be the D coordinator, but with so many injuries Orr isnt going to be blamed for the horrible play.

Only thing that matters now is Lamar. Hopefully its minor and they got him out because he was going to be killed otherwise.

What's stopping them from firing him? See, my theory is...they didn't want him going into this season as a lame duck coach. So they extend him just so that doesn't happen--but there is absolutely nothing stopping them from eating the rest of the contract and firing him.

No there isn't, but that's not how the Ravens operate. They have fired a coordinator during the season(like once), but not a HC. Harbaugh isn't going anywhere until after the season, and I doubt it happens then either. IMO Pagano should be promoted to DC like NOW. I really doubt that happens either though because Orr has the excuse of a bunch of key injuries to save his ass. We are stuck with the status quo.

I disagree. The situation is different from before...they fired Billick back in 2007 when things got too bad. To me, things have never gotten THIS bad under Harbaugh--the failures are usually in the playoffs not this early in the season. This feels like it's leading to a "breaking point" moment; I have never seen players so defeated and looking like they've given up on the coaching before. I think this is different.

That’s unfortunate. Harbaugh going to blame bad injury luck for this failed season when it’s obvious the problems are much deeper.

It is. And there is concern it could be career ending given it's a neck issue.

And at the end of the season Harbs might not be there to blame anything, lol

Will Lamar be able to go at home against the Texans? They aren't a great team but they do pressure the QB well. He needs to play imo, because Cooper Rush is a statue and mediocre overall. Not sure why the Ravens paid him so handsomely for a backup. Not a great fit for this offense. Without Lamar, along with all the injuries on defense, this team is truly dead.

I mean, I wouldn't bet on the Ravens

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-super-bowl-odds-updates-how-much-did-ravens-move-after-1-3-start-lamar-jackson-injury/

3 Good WR's, 2 good TE's, Henry and Lamar though.. Justice Hill, Mitchell. it seems to be clicking too. I guess Vegas likes highly powered offenses. High betting odds also means that Lamar's injury probably isn't serious

Looks like Lamar will miss Sunday's game and probably the next game against the Rams according to the Baltimore Sun

Cooper effing Rush lol.

Looks like Snoop will be his back up

1-5 here we come? A least they have the bye after that.

I haven't been this depressed since the night after my wedding.

There is some bad luck here, but seasons go wrong for other reasons besides random injuries, and in the case of Lamar's injury the organizational belief that Faalele, and to a lesser extent Vorhees, are starting guards for an offense that is supposed to be elite, contributed, and that is troublesome. Look at film, and its clear neither of those players are good in space, and don't handle the blitz well. Lamar probably got hurt earlier in the game and gutted it out as long as he could- there were a couple runs where he didn't look like himself, and other times he didn't run when he could have.

Ben Cleveland is a better guard but is forever in Harbaugh's doghouse. Time to tank for a new coach lol.
