Correct.  Praying Mantis are tick killing ninjas but they also will prey on beneficial native insects when the pest insects are mostly devoured.  You can buy their egg cases on-line.

I think most of the egg cases are from the chinese mantis though…so you just need to be sure about what you’re getting.

Cooler morning.

We can only dream of it here. Thank Jeebus it's within sight.

.SYNOPSIS...
Heat and humidity peak today but lasts into Thursday. A cold
front will bring showers and thunderstorms Thursday before
relief from the heat arrives this weekend. Drier and more
seasonable weather is ahead next week

The steam is back Sunday so just Saturday where it’s less humid. But early next week the humidity will be down before returning mid week.

After that midweek period we back down that weekend hope it holds.. atleast it won't be anything like it's been.. the last few weeks have been shit.. GFS out to August 1st now it's coming and almost time to put this crap behind us

Embrace it, feel it, smell it and soak every drop of that swampy stankness in. These are the type of dews that separate the big hombres from the little hombres. This is what we live for!

Nope! I prefer the big dews circling the bowl, not enveloping me in an invisible cloud of dank

You said the same in Junorch fo Julorch. And you were using the op GFS and GGEM to make the argument and it didn’t work at all. You’re doing the same thing now for Augdewst .

Once again it's coming a bit later and naw I look at everything.. your everyday dews of 70s is coming to a end.. enjoy it.. some days will be dewy but won't be constant..

Chase day tomorrow? Box seems interested but haven't looked much into it..

Most of the high-res models show
potential for discrete storms ahead of front with potential for
wind damage and even a few tornadoes, before eventually merging
into small lines or segments capable of producing wind damage.

I think I'll sit and watch with a big ice bucket of beer. Fire up the smoker , face my chair west and wait.

I guess there could be some good storms around especially NY state into wrn areas.

Damn. INeedBackBroken is correct about First shot across the bow. Sucks.

Eh not really. Cold fronts used to happen too. I mean it’s not supposed to be 70+ dews for weeks on end. Although it seems that way.
