Headed to Dulles. Not a drop of rain. Maybe leaving gives a better shot at it tomorrow. My garden is dead anyway.
I have drizzle. The timing with your departure means you were indeed the curse upon the land

With 0.15* I have more rain than I've had since 8/21. If I can get to 0.58" then it would equal my total since July 21st. The drought hammer looks to continue putting its foot on our neck through September548189989_1197721395728713_144292963134430707_n.jpg

Most spots have picked up at least a little rain since last night. The most I can find is the 0.27" down south in Nottingham with the least at Chester Springs with 0.01". Today we should see a continuing chance of some showers but again with the greatest amounts across Southern Chester County and down into Maryland. We stay in the chilly 60's with the ocean flow continuing through today. We start a brief warm up with both Thursday and Friday reaching near 80 degrees especially across the valley locations. We turn much chillier by Friday night and could again see some 40's for low temperatures across the typically chilly valley locations by Sunday morning. High temperatures in the lower 70's. Of note today is the date of the earliest freeze in recorded Chester County weather history when we reached 32 degrees at Phoenixville in 1986.

In Camp Hill I've had 0.73" in 58 days. Significantly less than the airport which is close to 4" or above. Since 1888 the records two months lowest preceiptitation total for Harrisburg official station was 0.88" during June and July in the insanely hot summer of 1966 where in those two months we hit 90 or above 40 times and 100 or above 7 times. The current drought, although not significant for the wider region this has certainly been significant locally due to it continuing and amplifying the trend of missing everything pop up starting in June. Further for the drought happening with below normal temperature in August.

Low of 57 with a very solid .53” in the gauge. Could really hear it coming down through the night at times.

You have been cleaning up on me over the past several events - .27" of rain fell at home. To your point about hearing it coming down, .2" of my total fell in 11 minutes from 1:35am through 1:46am. You must have gotten in on an additional band that missed me.

I experienced three drops of rain. It may have been owl piss. I can't confirm. I can; however, confirm it is drier than an old lady's snatch after an episode of "Touched By An Angel," and I fear there is little relief in sight.
