canderson
Wonder why we aren’t in a heat advisory for Thursday. Heat indexes will be over 100.

I was in East Petersburg all evening visiting a friend, with just light to moderate rain. Will give a full report from KMJS in the morning. But certainly nothing crazy, thank god.

Yardstickgozinya
The purplish dots are from the wednesday evening, storm that went right through York and the orange dots or from the storm that just went through the same areas and is still currently in progress. I envy those who live between YorkAna, and Hellem . Hopefully, flooding is not too much of a problem down there.

Scranton and the Poconos are getting it good again as I type this. My area has been pretty snakebit this past month. Amazing. Once again, both north and south got storms last night. We got 0.11" in garden variety fashion. Why is this scenario repeating itself?

anotherman
Got hit again at about three in the morning with an even worse storm. My rain gauge is broken so I have no idea how much we got, but it sounded like we were in the middle of a hurricane in the middle of the ocean. ChescoWx
Today will be the warmest day of the next week with many spots outside of the higher elevations reaching 90 degrees for the first time here in July. We turn cooler and finally less humid tomorrow and Saturday with temperatures running a couple of degrees below normal highs for late July. Shower chances increase again by Saturday night into Sunday. Early next week looks like it will continue to be a little below normal with comfortable humidity levels. Itstrainingtime
Tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday look incredible. Temps in the 80s with dewpoints falling from the 60s into the upper 50s tomorrow and then mostly in the 50s (possibly upper 40s?!) by late Monday into Tuesday. I think we've earned the reprieve.

canderson Posted yesterday at 01:37 PM Share Posted yesterday at 01:37 PM This summer has felt awful but we've only had a week of high temps.
