Horrible, horrible situation in Texas.

Scenes from Texas are horrific. My wife is friends (well acquaintances) with one whose child is missing. 
 

If you look at radar loops it never moved for 8 hours. 10” rain in an hour.

Oh sorry no I mean it moved so slow that was the rate. Lake Travis went up 10’ in 2 hours this am.

Two gorgeous days in a row. Humidity ain’t as bad as the weather media was acting like.

I am hearing the death toll might be north of 200 in Texas. 

The river rose 30 feet in less than an hour - rising 1” every six seconds for a period of time.

After the last 2 days with below normal temperatures we will see increasingly warm and humid weather today and through much of next week. Today looks like it is the only day that should stay dry. Rain chances will continue all week. The best chances of heavy rain look to be Monday into the evening. Wednesday looks to be the relatively driest day. Today should be our warmest day of the week with lower elevation spots across the county possibly touching 90 degrees while ridge locales will likely only reach the upper 80's.

Are there any wildfires going on in PA? We've got a Phoenix AZ type brown haze here in Tamaqua and the air has a bit of a smoky smell.
